Falling into Autumn: As the Leaves Turn
Odette
Hey, Bloomers!!! I hope you all are enjoying the Fall season so far if not; I feel sad for you. *giggles * I need you to fix that ASAP!!! Anyway, I just felt the need to bless you all with a little Blooming story today. Don’t worry. It’s not going to be long. I have just uncovered some deep realizations that I have been noticing through my personal journey as I have been Falling into the Autumn season. These past few days, I’ve been interacting with persons who are of the same age as I am and those who are older as well. Despite the age difference, each group of people has life experiences, and their advice for me is to continue to keep pushing onward, albeit the many struggles. I find it quite weird because these persons and I would just be having a general conversation, and then BOOM, we find ourselves discussing how hard it is to keep afloat. The stories that I’ve been told has been indeed an eye-opener for me, and I am truly grateful for these conversations.
I do feel “emotional” when I think about it. I could have been further into life’s journey; however, life had other plans for me. I am starting to accept that and learn to appreciate the journey that I am on. Speaking with so many different people has made me realize that appreciation will only come with acceptance. Many tend to think because I’m a “public figure” of some sort that I have my life or in other words, my “shit” together. The funny thing is, I struggle just like any regular person, I just don’t let it get the best of me.
This Fall Season thus far has been placing a lot more positive, influential, optimistic, and hardworking people in my life. I have a lot of work to do and many upcoming projects that I want to invest my time in, but first, I want to focus on my website. There are still a few tweaks left to iron out. This season so far has been interesting and has raised a few questions for me, such as “What is my worth?” and “Who will be leaving my life this season?” stay tuned for more details in a future post.
As for you, my Bloomers!! I want to encourage you all to continue striving in whatever it is you are doing this season. I know the struggle is real, but it is going to be so worth it in the end. No matter how hard it gets, you will get through it. Don’t pay any mind to what others say or may think of you. You know what your goal is at the end of the day, so keep on pushing. Be careful of the persons you surround yourself with because some don’t mean you well; some want to see you WIN!!
How is your Autumn Season going so far?
