We are all worthy of something in this life whether you believe that or not. Do not let anyone tell you differently; take a good look in the mirror and think of what you want for yourself. You know what is that you want and deserve and you need to know that you are worth every single bit of it!! Nothing in this world can define you as an individual or define your worth.
I know you may be wondering why I am writing this letter to you today, but this is just a few words of encouragement. I hope these words mean something to somebody even if it is only one person.
Therapy is about YOU. You talk to a professional about YOUR issues and problems, they are simply there to listen to you and guide you or give advice on how to deal with them.
Therapy. Something I never thought I needed until now or should I say I thought I got over my emotions enough to not need it anymore. Despite my age, I don’t think anyone is too young to see a therapist or counselor and get help on whatever it is you need help on. Some may say it’s taboo and others may tell you, you just need to “pray,” but the truth is there are some persons just like me where prayer isn’t enough
This elderly lady walked in with 3 floral arrangements, and they were absolutely STUNNING!! Come to find out one of them were for me. M-E!!!! My smile went from cheek to cheek; but, who the hell got me flowers?
Do you seek revenge or success? What is your reason for seeking that revenge? Is that going to make you any better than the person who hurt you? Why not seek success and know that “karma” will deal with the rest? Do you know how to accomplish success?
Don’t just dream the dream. Act on those dreams, don't just expect to sit there and BOOM!! The dreams fall into your lap. Sadly, It really doesn’t work that way, even though I wish it could work that way. Write out your dreams and how you want to accomplish them.
The truth is, it is not your fault and there are times we fail to understand why. You see my Blooming flowers; we tend to think that when door/s begin to close on us, that means everything in our lives will be a negative turn out. For some, we may think that it’s the end of the world (but it’s not) and that’s okay.
Don’t be ashamed if you lived in poverty, struggled with “inner demons,” brought up in an abusive home or are single parent family, or even all of the above. All of those things teach you to be a better you. It makes you look at life in a different way (positively I hope). Just don’t let the negativity consume you. Be proud of your past, share your story and let people know where you came from and how you survived.
