Leap Into Spring

Seasonal Growth

Leap Into Spring

Odette

And just like that we are in the second quarter of the year? Time seems to be flying by, doesn't it? And to top it off, we've officially entered the beautiful Spring Season! While I may be a tad behind in extending my warm welcome to this new season, it's always better to embrace it late than never at all, right? I trust that each of you had a delightful Easter Holiday filled with joy and perhaps even some Easter treats courtesy of our beloved Peter Rabbit.

While it's true that Autumn holds a special place in my heart as my favorite season, I must admit that I have a deep appreciation for Spring as well. There's something truly magical about this time of year – the flowers blooming, the fruits beginning to appear on the trees and the prevalence of pastel colors that just exude positivity. It's a season filled with nothing but good vibes all around. But perhaps what I cherish most about Spring is the opportunity for personal growth that it brings. As we leap into Spring with a leap of faith, there's a sense of renewal and possibility in the air. It's a time for new beginnings and embracing change, which can lead to incredible growth both personally and professionally.

However, to achieve those successful outcomes, you must be ready to embrace opportunities and seize the moment whenever it presents itself, taking that leap of faith without hesitation. Not to mention putting your full trust in God, I believe that’s what this Spring season will unfold for many of us – how much do we truly trust God to seize a risky but good opportunity that may spring forth and change our circumstances for the better? or how much we fully trust God to perform what may seem impossible to us. It's quite amusing to reflect on it now... back in the first quarter of 2024, I emphasized the importance of laying solid foundations for our goals and aspirations for the year. And here we are, already in the second quarter and amidst the vibrant season of spring. It's a beautiful reminder that, while everything unfolds in divine timing, it's now the season to reap the fruits of our labor and witness the steady manifestation of our endeavors.

then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine, and olive oil.
— Deuteronomy 11:14

The question is how many of you sowed your first fruit or seed that will help to boost your harvest for this year? If you don’t know what “First Fruit” is - It essentially signifies "the promise of what lies ahead." Therefore, when we offer our first fruits, we entrust our faith in the Lord for the blessings that await us! It's a declaration that says, "God, I am ready to receive your abundance and I will steward it faithfully or not take advantage." It has rained, showered, and stormed – now it’s time to harvest; many of us have waited long enough for some of the seeds and to be honest I’m sure a few of us forgot about some of them.

During this vibrant season of spring, let us not only embrace the opportunities for growth and renewal but also exercise our faith with expectation for answered prayers. Let's spring forth into action, entrusting that all things are coming together as we leap forward with courage and trust in God's timing. Seizing the opportunity to bloom and grow, let's remain open-minded, learn, and “Be Still”, knowing that in the fertile soil of faith, all things are possible as we journey into the second quarter of the year. Continue to surrender and continue to allow God to be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path.

P.S. I extend a challenge to each of you to make a sacrificial offering of a seed, a "First Fruit," for April and/or for the entirety of the Spring Season, entrusting in the unknown with faith and conviction. As we embrace this act of faith, may it serve as a tangible demonstration of our trust in God's provision and our readiness to receive the abundance that awaits us.
