Fall for Change

“INFINITE SELF”

The universe you see starts with yourself. How you may view yourself impacts the way you view “your world” greatly. Search yourself. Do love/fancy the way you look. Do you hate the way react? That is okay! What is important is that you make sure you are aware of your greatest features and your biggest flaws. When you go beyond what you love or hate about yourself. You become able to focus on acceptance. Accepting yourself for who you are and allowing the love to naturally form in your life. The journey to understand your infinite self begins with understanding who you are and changing for the better.

Fall for Change

Odette

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.
— Ecclesiastes 3:1

I am sure by now some of you have a favorite Bible verse, if not there are a few that you love but you’re still trying to decide which will stick with you for a long time. For me, mine isn’t one of the “common” verses or books in the Bible. But it’s good and it comes from Ecclesiastes. Specifically, verses 1 and verses 2-8.

There’s a time & season for everything. During this season do what is needed of you. Release what needs to be released. Talk to God. Allow God to ordain your steps during this time; let him strip you of your old habits and negative spirits. Open up to Daddy because He won’t do it until you let Him in. You know what you need to let go of in this season so do it. It's easier said than done but HE is there with you along the way. Time is going and before you know it, it will be Winter. During that season it will be time to meditate and come into acceptance of these “new”  terms decisions and changes. Soon enough it will be time to spring forth & blossom.

Despite the popular meaning of this Bible chapter & side note, I had my own revelation about this chapter that I will blog about later on. Anyway… I reflect on this as the beginning of the transformation and shift in one’s life. One where there will be a season and time to be in a place of solitude. A time of darkness. A time of happiness, a time of hopelessness, and the list goes on and on. There is an appointed time for everything in life, no matter the circumstances. We are under an “Open Heaven” so every event under that has a time. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 gives us a view to look at things from a self-centered perception or faith-based. Something I realized in this Bible chapter is that life will be life; we can’t control it. However, your perception of it is imperative; either enjoy it or hate it. The perspective we choose on how to look at life determines whether we are fulfilled or frustrated.

This Bible chapter has been on my mind since Autumn started. Fun fact though no matter the time or season this will always be my favorite. I think this season particularly, it's enforced. As I stated in a few of my previous blogs, Fall is a season of change. Come to accept that change will happen even if you don’t want them to. Regardless if you want it to happen or not it can be something that is needed in your life. Don’t fight when you notice that “shift” happening, it can be a feeling of discomfort mentally or emotionally (speaking from experience), maybe even anxiety. My advice is don't run. Take it for what it is & spend some time alone to reflect on what changes you may need to make or choices. Make sure they align with what you want in life. Be intentional with the decisions you make whether it’s the way you think, act, or both. Put in the work. Don’t just talk the talk. Walk-the-walk. Fall for the Change!

Here ends my reading! Have a GREAT & Blessed day.
