A Letter from Me to You: Keep Fighting & Keep Climbing

Dear You,
First I want to say I’m sorry I haven’t been writing you letters. Things were getting a little “ghetto” over here on this side *giggles * but nonetheless, here is my letter to you.
I see you. I see you fighting but wanting to give up. I see you climbing that big a$$ mountain, but yet you want to stop. I see you struggling mentally and emotionally but not knowing where to start, who to seek, or to trust for help. I think it is safe to say we all know this struggle all too well.
I see you wanting to quit your job. Still, with everything happening, you are just “biting the bullet” until a better opportunity comes. Do not let that job make YOU! YOU better make that job. I see you wanting to start your own business venture…however, you keep thinking, “Nope. Everybody is already doing it.” Well, let me tell you, there is enough money to go around!
I see you living paycheck to paycheck trying to make ends meet, and if it’s not one thing, it’s another. Yes. You deserve a little break and freedom, so don’t beat yourself up for the little shopping purchase that placed a smile on your face. I see you trying to get out of that sticky situation with the person making your life a living hell. But can I tell you something? NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER! God doesn’t like ugly.
I see you being upset watching your friends graduate with degrees, the ones who started the same time as you or after you. You are thinking, “I wish it was me as well.” Listen, even if you couldn’t finish due to circumstances or held up, I hope the void is filled & you complete the degree.
I definitely see you. You trying to get your life together. Trying to make sense of it all. It’s okay not to be where you are yet. Stay PRAYED UP!!! Life. It feels like it is kicking you down right now. Life didn’t really come with rules. However, you will overcome this. You may not see the light at the end of the tunnel, and every time you see the light, more darkness comes. May I tell you something? You must be the light. You must create your own light within that tunnel until you get out of it. Do not let the darkness consume you. Do not let it make you bitter. As a matter of fact, unbitter yourself… I don’t even know if that is a word, but who cares? Not me *giggles *
Keep Fighting & Keep Climbing. There is a reason why you are going through what you are going through. Don’t get me wrong either I don’t mean it negatively. This fight is your fight. This battle is your battle. You are strong enough to get out of it. Just look inwards. I have my own struggles, but the only reason I can smile is that it will only make me better & stronger. Your season is coming. It’s closer than you think. If you were looking for a sign, this is it here.
Keep your head up, smile with your beautiful/handsome self, drink water, and breathe. Patience.
