Have You Ever Felt?
Odette
Hey Bloomers & new Bloomers, welcome back to my blog YAYYY!!! So I’ve been personally encountering a few persons who would say or post indirect things about not being good enough. I figured why not address it here in hopes that my words would make at least one person feel good about themselves. Here it goes…
Have you ever felt like you weren’t good enough? Was it because of the way someone made you think? Is it because of your skin color? Maybe they made you feel like you aren’t the “right” one for whatever the reason may be. Well, you aren’t alone. I think everyone has days and moments of not feeling like they aren’t good enough. I have those moments, and it doesn’t help when a person makes you feel that way or make you feel like you aren’t trying your best.
News flash Bloomers, you are more than enough in this world. If that wasn’t the case, I don’t think you would be here…just saying. You have a purpose, and it’s just a matter of figuring out what your purpose is, but we won’t get into that. The point is, don’t ever think you aren’t enough. Sometimes you aren’t enough for people, and that’s completely fine. In some cases, you are MORE than enough for some persons, and that’s great. If it has to do with your skin color… they can kiss your ass! We are in a new decade it’s time to get over this racial nonsense. The skin you are in is beautiful and if they tell you any different… (I’ll keep that one to myself). * giggles *
I’ve encountered persons who felt like they weren’t good enough in their relationships because as much as they actually try, others don’t see it. The question is, why? Regardless of whatever the case may be, let it be known that you are doing your best and if they can’t see it, then “Hasta la vista.” Honestly, some of you go above and beyond for these people doing things that you usually don’t do, and they don’t seem to be appreciative.
Never let a person, job, etc. make you feel some way because of their own personal image of you. No matter what the situation is… it’s not worth it. We all have these days, and I think it’s safe to say that it is normal to feel like that sometimes. The best advice I give myself daily is this, “Never compare yourself to others around you.” Remember:
1. There is more right than wrong with you
2. Never try to hate your way into loving yourself
3. You are not perfect so focus on progress than perfection
4. Don’t believe everything you think
